Um well I actually stumbled upon this blog looking for inspiration to change my room but anyway, after looking through 25< x pages I was fully convinced that I should too submit pictures of my room, although you yourselves probably won’t find it interesting. Because although I want to change my room, spending SO MUCH time in here by myself it has grown on me. So when it’s changed I might submit another post.. if that’s acceptable…
ANYWAY ABOUT THIS ROOM…
I like that wall with pictures on it above my bed. They’re pictures my friends have drawn, painted or scanned for me and umm dead flowers and the green paper is some bio revision stuff and on the wall next to that is some Spanish revision stuff, yes. I plan on covering that wall with heaps of NatGeo pictures (as soon as I get over the idea of ripping them apart) because I love nature and I love you NatGeo, marry me.
My room and bed is quite small but I’m single you see so that’s okay.
On the floor are just paintings because I like collecting paintings but I was never allowed to take art in school because it doesn’t make one rich. And they’re on the floor because I’m pretty sure that as soon as I hammer a nail into the wall I’m going to change my mind of where to hang the picture.
So in that green trunk it’s really cool—it has this really old stamp collection book and letters that were dated like a 100 years or so ago and old postcards and just old things and it’s lined in there, blue and white stipes and just looks really vintage and I’m sure it’d make all you indie folk out there jelly. (Is that what indie people like anyway??) And behind one of those paintings is this suitcase my 95-year old grandma gave me filled with doilies (yusss) and place-mats and sheets and material for dresses and curtains.
But what I love most of all is my desk which is the width of my bed and really cool because when I study I can just have everything on it and yeah, I study a lot. And at the back of the desk there are these secret (well not so secret anymore) doors which you can lock and hide things in it. But the desk is super heavy so it’s not really worth it… but it’s nice nonetheless…
And next to my desk is my cupboard which I can’t open because my desk is too big…And I live out of my suitcase under my bed because I was too lazy to unpack it the last time I came back from overseas… which was over 3 years ago…
And yeah this was my room and I’m really sorry you had to read all this and I love your blog, thank you for making it <3.”—Lanatura
Thank you for submitting and for such a good description. I actually really love the long ones.
