1. fluorescentdeath asked: I really need help. When I was eleven, I thought choosing this glittery/shimmery off-light pink coloured wallpaper with hearts and flowers on it too be my best decision ever. Unfortunately, it's not. Any tips for how to change it? My parents thinks it's adorable and cute, but I want to die whenever I walk into my room. It's disgusting (and it's not charming at all. Just cold and scary). I'm desperate. OK, thanks. Bye.

Oh no-walking into your room and wanting to die is not a good feeling! So your parents aren’t into letting you change it? In that case, I would recommend trying to cover it up as much as possible. You can do things like hang really big fabric tapestries, or tack up big sheets of paper and have your friends draw on them, to cover up large swathes at a time. I’ve never put up wallpaper before, but from what I understand, it can be really difficult. If it is really important to you to get rid of it, maybe for your birthday or some other special occasion, instead of asking for gifts, ask your parents if you could all spend a weekend, together, redoing the wallpaper in your room. I bet your parents would be stoked on the idea of something that you guys could all do together, and also be totes impressed with your maturity for suggesting it!

    Good luck!xoxo
